Everyone, but me, is sick at my home. I'm thankful for whomever in my genes had "good genes" because (knock on wood) I don't really get sick. I may have one "spat" a year, but it normally lasts a few days, and maybe I miss one day of work, but that's pushing it for me. Unfortunately, Matt and Spencer don't have my super-sonic genes and are both sick right now. :( Spencer was throwing up all night Thursday night, pulled it together for the weekend, and now is just sick. You know, tired, feverish, and yuck. Matt was just sick last week, and woke up this morning throwing up! So, he managed to pull it together to go to work, so I'm heading home at lunch to lysol the entire home and air it out!
Until then, enjoy my home decorated! (Again...there's a random picture in the middle, of which I will explain.)

Friday was a good day. Since, Spencer was exhausted from her throw-up match on Thursday night, she took a 4.5 hour nap on Friday! So, I got all my house cleaning and decorating in on Friday. It was really nice. I didn't manage to get the floor swept, before snapping, so you can see the constant battle I fight, called Black Dog Hair!

Spencer is way into Santa this year and she's very excited for him to come and place gifts under the tree. Even if gifts are from Mommy and Daddy, none will make an appearance until bedtime on Christmas Eve. It will be a quite Christmas this year, which is highly WELCOMED, and the day after Spencer and I will hop in the car to go to Philly to visit my sister and her family.

Our Christmas tree is much taller this year, but we were able to fit many more oranments on the tree and Matt's train sits proudly underneath. Lisa Simpson, again, tops our tree with honor.

Over the weekend, our church held our fall confirmation where 7 of my high school students were confirmed. On the eve of their confirmation, we hold a very informal time for the students to publically give their testimonies to their friends and family. It's a very special time and I was so proud of them for their courage and walks with the Lord. I highly value students NOT saying they live a perfect life and they have got it all figured out, more like, here's where I am with the Lord and I'm excited to see what He's going to do next. They were all great.

We've got the stockings hung on the hall tree with care in hopes that Mommy remembers to hit Wal-Mart to fill them with flair!
Happy Wednesday!

i hope that everyone feels better soon! your house looks great! we have our tree up, but our house is still a mess because the kitchen is currently being 'renovated' and the furniture that my mom is giving to us is delivered (she can't take it all to dallas when she moves there in may) - so we benefit greatly and don't have to buy new furniture. good luck with de-germing you house.
Who made Spencer's stocking? Tom and I have the same ones and it would be great if we could get the boys ones, too. I am too lazy to learn how to knit.....
