Monday Morning Update

So, I started this and got a phone call, and of course, everything went away. Ug.
But, Spencer did well last night. She was a bit fussy, but that was more because of the numerous bracelets she has on her wrist. They aren't comfortable and therefore, she's not. Also, they have an IV in her, incase of an emergency, so her left hand is out of comission. I'm sure that's not comfortable, either.

All of the nurses are big fans of Spencer, as am I, so they are enjoying her. She's cranky today, because she didn't fall asleep until 10:30 last night and was "cheerfully" awaken by the nurses to draw 3 viles of blood. It was determined, last night, that she has Strep, which was the catalyst of this whole ordeal. We're hoping the blood cultures and new blood work come back fine, which will hopefully send us home today. I know Hagrid would like to have Spencer back home. My mom has said she can come in, so that's good b/c I can't send Spencer back to her childcare with Strep and unable to walk, and I have a busy week at work! I love, love, love my little girl, so she does come first, so it's so nice that Nana can get here to help!!! We love Nana!!

So, I'll post this afternoon after we hear an update.

We've had a number of visitors last night and this morning, which Spencer loved. So, thank you for coming and calling and commenting. You're all so sweet. Praise God for the family we have everywhere!
