bound to happen

I didn't include these 2 beauties when I posted last.  It was bound to happen. The fact that I have been moving at warp speed, honestly, since I have had Ian, has caught up to me and I am sick in the bed. I have been feeling terrible for the past 3 weeks. I did nothing about it for the first week. But, when I was at lunch with Dina, and could hardly hear her while she was talking, she encouraged me to actually see a doctor. I was put on a z-pack and Hydromet syrup. The sinus infection was definately alleviated, but I was still sick. I was continuously told the z-pack takes 12 days to work, so I tried being as patient as possible. However, I felt terrible on Thursday and Friday was no better. The docs were able to see me yesterday and put me on a new anti-biotic as well as more cough meds. I had a 101.3 fever and could not get warm. I felt terrible.

Thankfully, I had thought ahead that week and had ordered out for dinner on Friday, so the family was take care of with yummy pumpkin soup, and beef strouganoff. I'm bummed I missed out on it. I haven't eaten anything since breakfast yesterday. I'm hoping I'll have an apetite today. I HATE being sick. My appointment was at 5pm yesterday. I slept from 1-3, went to the docs at 5, and was back in the bed by 6:30pm. I still feel terrible, but can not sleep any more. I don't think my body has slept that much in 6 years!

Other than that, my life is currently: mommy and wife full time, working way too much, getting Spencer to and from dance (on the weeks Matt isn't on night shift), getting Spencer to and from swimming lessons (again, if Matt's not available), attending football and volleyball games for my students, cooking healthy meals for my family, trying to spend time with my children, and the list goes on. I'm not surprised I'm so sick. It was bound to happen.
