happenings...

My Fall should just be filed by title. I travel almost every weekend of the Fall and before you know it, it's Thanksgiving. 2011 hasn't been any different. I have been going and going and haven't stopped, yet. I managed to plan my calendar around Spencer's birthday, so I made sure I was home to celebrate 6 years of life!
Back in October, I attended the wedding of one of my "original" students. I love the Woodberry family and wouldn't have missed Lindsay's wedding for anything. I had a great time with her sister and family and enjoyed every minute of the evening. The weather was a bit cold, however, we managed to dance the night away and enjoy great food and drinks in the process.

October also brought Homecoming at Waccamaw high school. We went over to the church for the parade and Spencer spent the afternoon/evening with her very best friend, Hollis. They play so well together and I love the time the enjoy. Hollis has 4 older siblings, and Spencer hangs out with teenagers all of the time, so they are very similar. Thank you, Lord!
Spencer went with me to Pittsburgh for my high school reunion weekend. I have no pictures of my reunion, however, I did snap a few of this little girl. We stayed with my sister and Spencer soaked up the Fall weather. I absolutely love the Fall in Pittsburgh and wouldn't trade it for anything.
While we were there, Spencer enjoyed a number of sleepovers. She stayed with Uncle Marty and Aunt Katy (and their slew of children ;)...and Spencer fit right in. Our kids are all around the same age, and Katy said Spencer did great. We ended the time at the Children's museum!

Vince has fit right into our family. Spencer and Ian love him dearly and he's very much a part of our home. Ian enjoys cuddles with him and Spencer loves tackling him. I can't remember our life with out Vince in our home, and I don't want to!

Happy Monday, everyone.
